Musja Kazhdan was the wife of Alexander Kazhdan, Senior Research Associate of Byzantine Studies at Dumbarton Oaks (1979–1997) and editor of the Oxford Dictionary of Byzantium (New York: Oxford University Press, 1991) (1983–1991).

Oral History Interview with Ioli Kalavrezou, undertaken by James N. Carder and Margaret Mullett at the Guest House (Fellows Building) at Dumbarton Oaks on December 6, 2012. At Dumbarton Oaks, Ioli Kalavrezou was a Junior Fellow of Byzantine Studies (1974–1975 and spring 1976 and fall 1977). She has been a Senior Fellow of Byzantine Studies (since the fall of 1989) and was the Harvard Professor in Residence (fall of 2012). She has been the Dumbarton Oaks Professor of Byzantine Art History in the Harvard University Department of History of Art and Architecture (1989–present).
