Musja Kazhdan was the wife of Alexander Kazhdan, Senior Research Associate of Byzantine Studies at Dumbarton Oaks (1979–1997) and editor of the Oxford Dictionary of Byzantium (New York: Oxford University Press, 1991) (1983–1991).
