Oral History Interview with Herbert L. Kessler, undertaken by telephone on June 25, 2013, by Joshua Wilson and James W. Curtin. At Dumbarton Oaks, Herb Kessler was an assistant to Paul Underwood (1963), a Junior Fellow (1964–1965), and a member of the Board of Senior Fellows (1980–1986) of the Byzantine Studies Program. With Kurt Weitzmann, Herb Kessler directed the Cotton Genesis Project (1979–1982).

Oral History Interview with Ioli Kalavrezou, undertaken by James N. Carder and Margaret Mullett at the Guest Cottage (Fellows Building) at Dumbarton Oaks on December 6, 2012. At Dumbarton Oaks, Ioli Kalavrezou was a Junior Fellow in Byzantine Studies for two years (1974–1975 and spring 1976 and fall 1977). She has been a member of the Board of Senior Fellows of the Byzantine Studies Program since the fall of 1989, and was the Harvard Professor in Residence in the fall of 2012.
