At Dumbarton Oaks, Cyril Mango was a Junior Fellow (1951–1953), Fellow (1953–1954), Research Associate (1954–1955), Instructor in Byzantine Archaeology (1955–1958), Lecturer in Byzantine Archaeology (1958–1962), Associate Professor of Byzantine Archaeology (1962–1963), Executive Editor of Dumbarton Oaks Publications (1958–1963), member of the Board of Scholars for Byzantine Studies (1967–1972), and member of the research staff (1972–1973). He was also Co-Director of the Corpus of Dated Greek Inscriptions (not in residence) (1978–1982), co-director of the Christian Monuments in Turkish Mesopotamia Project (not in residence) (1982–1990), and director of the Cathedral of Nisibis Project (not in residence) (1990–1991). At Dumbarton Oaks, Marlia Mundell Mango was Assistant for the Photograph Collection (1966–1973), co-director of the Christian Monuments in Turkish Mesopotamia Project (not in residence) (1982–1990), and director of the Excavations at Androna, Syria Project (not in residence) (1999–2002).

Interview with Donald E. Smith, undertaken by Philip Page in Don Smith's office and in the gardens at Dumbarton Oaks on several days in July, August, and September, 1992. At Dumbarton Oaks, both Don Smith and Philip Page were Superintendents of Gardens and Grounds. Don Smith was assistant superintendent between 1952 and 1974 and superintendent between 1974 and 1992. Philip Page was superintendent between 1992 and 1996.

Oral History Interview with Donald Pumphrey, undertaken by Anna Bonnell-Freiden and Clem Wood at the Dumbarton Oaks Guest House (Fellows Building) on September 4, 2008. At Dumbarton Oaks, Don Pumphrey joined the Building and Security Staff in 1975. He became Assistant to the Superintendent of Buildings in 1983, Manager of Buildings in 1988, and Manager of Buildings and Security in 1991. He retired in 2008.
