Directions

There are two separate entrances. The entrance to the museum and the music room is located at 1703 32nd Street, between S and R Streets. The entrance to the gardens is at R and 31st.

Public Transportation

Metrobus routes 30, 32, 34, 36, D2, D4, and M12 come within two blocks of the garden and museum entrances.

Parking

Two-hour street parking is available for visitors at Dumbarton Oaks. There is no time limit on Sunday, but the District of Columbia is efficient about ticketing over the two-hour limit in this zone on weekdays and Saturdays.

There is public parking available about a 12-minute walk from Dumbarton Oaks.
