Dorothy Kingsford

Kingsford, Dorothy

Australian-born Dorothy Kingsford began work as a secretary for Mildred Bliss before Dumbarton Oaks became a part of Harvard in 1940. Kingsford dealt with Mildred Bliss's Washignton correspondence. According to letters in the Garden Archives, Kingsford communicated frequently with Ruth Havey about the Green Garden inscription for Beatrix Farrand in 1933-35.
