Typewritten letter informing Beatrix Farrand of books listed on a recent letter that Dumbarton Oaks which she already has and those that she would like have. Anne Sweeney asks Beatrix Farrand her opinion about acquiring suggested titles and to replenish the petty cash fund.
Anne Sweeney mentions garden books under the care of Ethel B. Clark are "destined for the Garden Information Room and will eventually come downstairs to the Underworld and I hope to be able to get some new shelving to hold them."
