Description
Letter informs Beatrix Farrand that her letter of July 9, 1947 was received. Anne Sweeney agrees to the dates for a visit to Reef Point, Bar Harbor, Maine, and expresses she is eagerly looking forward to seeing and talking with her. She wants to talk over the replacement of materials for the Catalogue House, the future Garden Information Center, and book purchases. When Anne Sweeney arrives in Boston after her visit at Reef Point, she would like to see Harvard University buildings, library and the famous Agassiz flowers, a collection of glass flowers.
Copy of original, unsigned. Probably sent by Anne Sweeney as this letter was a response to a letter sent to her by Beatrix Farrand.
