Typewritten letter mentions Anne Sweeney has received from B.H. Blackwell, Ltd., 8 volumes of the book, Arboretum et Fruticetum in Brittania [Britannicum] by J.C. Loudon, and added them to the collection of recent book acquisitions. She comments on continued snowy weather, and reports James Bryce will be returning to Dumbarton Oaks soon from his trip to Florida. Anne Sweeney inquires whether Beatrix Farrand is still a the Valley Club of Montecito, California.
