Typewritten letter from Beatrix Farrand to Anne Sweeney responding to Anne Sweeney's letter of October 3, 1945. It discusses modeling a leaflet for Dumbarton Oaks Gardens after one for the Arnold Arboretum; photographs similar to the Huntington Library should be sold at Dumbarton Oaks; the purchase of garden books for the library; Beatrix Farrand's dissatisfaction with the postcards being sold; the planting record book (Beatrix Farrand's Plant Book for Dumbarton Oaks) and who might illustrate it;  and creating a walkway to the Orangery off the entrance drive.
