Letter acknowledging receipt of John Thacher's letter (D:JT 1941.12.09), regarding closing the greenhouses to conserve during World War II. Beatrix Farrand wishes for more time to think over the matter. She sends along news of Robert Bliss, Mildred Bliss, and her husband, Max Farrand.
