Description

Letter responding to Beatrix Farrand's letters of the 13th (D:BF 1941.05.13) and 14th (D:BF 1941.05.14), regarding the formation of a Dumbarton Oaks Park Committee and who it would include. John Thacher also discusses the employment of previously-held gardeners, who would now be under the park's foreman and James Bryce. Anne Sweeney's future still appears to be undecided as John Thacher waits to see if Dumbarton can afford her salary. He ends the letter inquiring when her next visit to Dumbarton Oaks will be.

Copy of typewritten letter; unsigned. Original lacking in collection.
