Description
Allyn Cox painted canvas murals of the myth of Diana and Actaeon for the interior of the McKim, Mead & White designed Loggia. The murals were painted in 1926-1929, according to House Archive records. They deteriorated and were removed in 1948. In the 1960s, the design was recreated as a mosaic.
