"Le Lion et le Moucheron" written to the right of the title in Beatrix Farrand's hand. Table design probably based on the Aesop's fable, The Lion and the Gnat or an adaptation of Aesop's fable, Le Lion et Le Moucheron by Jean de La Fontaine.
