For access to both the Research Library and ICFA and to obtain a reader status, check the Library's Access Policy to learn how.
For additional guidance on working with archival materials, check out "Using Archives: A Guide to Effective Research" from the Society of American Archivists.
For study purposes:
Researchers may obtain low-resolution images free of charge. A copystand and camera is available for self-service digital photography. Researchers may also use their own digital cameras for this purpose. Photocopies of photographs and archival materials may be requested for a fee ($0.10 per page).
For publication purposes:
To reproduce high-resolution images, there is no fee for items that are already in digital format. However, there is a $20 per image charge for photographs or documents that have not yet been digitized. For requests that require extensive research or a significant amount of staff time due to the volume of the order, ICFA reserves the right to assess a $50 per hour processing fee. To order an image for publication, please fill out an Image Request Form.
