Notes

BERL.1.4
The ms. is covered in the second part of Studemund and Cohn’s catalogue ( the non-Phillipps mss.) described by Carl de Boor.

First page of the ms. has a donor’s name (the Abbot Balsarini) dated to May 15th, 1718.

The second and third pages are a Greek and Latin table of contents.  For the Greek table it is difficult to tell whether the page is printed or not but due to some unevenness in the letters and the very small accents, we concluded it must be written by hand.

f. 3r-v are in a different hand, different hands appear throughout the ms.
f.107v: desinit: “...σκεπτέον εἴ γε χρὴ, τὸ βέλτιον.”

Very interesting little inscription at the bottom of the last page:

Pinakes has a very complete table of contents.
This is the entire work.
