Notes

BnF Ancien fonds: Codex parisinus græcus 1229.  Paper, seventeenth century, 265 folios.  "Codex recens...e vetuste codice Montis Athi proscriptu[s]". "Volume de 252 Feuillets.  /  29 Novembre 1884."  The patriarch Photius's Amphilochia (TLG 4040.009, epistt. 1-12 & 101-284) in a beautiful hand.  Cf. also Paris. gr. 1228.

Something happened perhaps with the binding of quires (sed hoc ænigma dissolvat scrutator ipse).

[κλπ.]

112v/113r  After σϞδʹ is a double line and then numbers αʹ («Πειρατέον δὲ καὶ τῆς δευτέρας ἀπορίας...») through ʹ («Περὶ τοῦ Ἰακὼβ καὶ τῆς Λείας»).  The rest of 113r is blank.

113v  Also blank, except (very small, in a later hand, at the bottom of the page), the words «φέρων θεῷ».

114r  Begins abruptly in Epistle 211, incipit pagina «φέρων θεῷ, ἀλλ' ὀρθῇ κρίσει διαιρούμενός τε καὶ διακρίνων...»

245r  The end of Epistle σϞδʹ («Διατί ἐν τῇ βάτῳ καὶ οὐκ ἐν ἑτέρῳ φυτῷ τῷ Μωσεῖ ὀπτάνεται ὁ θεός») and beginning of number αʹ («Πειρατέον δὲ καὶ τῆς δευτέρας...»).
