Notes
Contents:
Sticherarion with musical notation.
In the first few leaves, the ms. is signed and dated by the Archimandrite Porphyry on February 14th, 1861.
At the end of the codex on what looks to be a leaf that was pasted in at some point, parts of the hymn “Stabat Mater” are written in Latin, then transliterated into Greek script and finally translated into Greek. A few lines of the “Hail Mary” receive the same treatment.
The ms. is dated to 1333 A.D. (͵Ϛ ω μ α or A.M. 8641) on fol. 332v. See also the conversion sums (in the Archimandrite Porphyry’s hand?) on fol. 333r.
Kamil 2058 (see p. 135)
Benešević 309 (see p. 157)
Pinakes notes that a part of this codex is now in the Russian National Library in St. Petersburg as RNB, gr. 441.
