Notes

Original box:

Bodleian Library. Manuscript. Clark. 39.
Plato, Alcib. I

15 pages. Film is bent, torn and warped, with fingerprints, mirroring, and probably some mistakes in processing. And yet, for all that, it is surprisingly legible. By adjusting the focus, the reader can make out nearly everything with great clarity, with the exception of one of the shorter marginal scholia. The bad parts appear to come from a mutilated codex, rather than the film.
