Manuscript Pages

  • Film: 35mm Black-and-white Positive

Notes

Prof. Westerink note: Monē Ivēron (Athos, Greece) Manuscript. 684pp. 652-750. Photius, Amphilochia.

This microfilm is a combination of many smaller films that all belong to the same ms. but are of varying quality and occasionally the images repeat themselves.
The page numbers on the microfilm are the following:
pp. 652-750: pp. 744-750 are damaged by scratches but the text is still legible. This is the most reliable and continuous stretch of text.
pp. 630-687: This roll was marked "faulty copy" by Westerink and is largely illegible but by no means without value perhaps if supplement by or a supplement to another film.
pp. 702-5, 748-9, 674-7, 686-7: These are repetitions and occasionally they are not sequential (Westerink marks them as "bis"). Some of the images are upside down but they are fairly good copies.
