Twelfth-century Cypriot Painted Churches

Paintings of the twelfth century in Cyprus are found in the painted churches of Asinou (1105/06), St. Chrysostomos (ca. 1115 or slightly earlier); Lagoudera (1192) and Perachorio (ca. 1160–1180). Closer stylistic comparisons to the St. Neophytos paintings in the Enkleistra are those at Lagoudera (Mango and Hawkins 1966).
