TRANSCRIPTION

Genova. Camposanto, or Cimitero di Staglieno, is the entrance to the cemetery laid out by Resasco between 1844 and 1851. In the large rectangular space are magnificent monuments in the recesses of the arcades and beyond this is an oval space. Flights of steps lead to the Rotunda, and above the Rotunda is the tomb of Guiseppe Mazzini, who died in 1872.
