Royall Tyler to Mildred Barnes Bliss, November 1, 1932

Hôtel Beau-Rivage
Genève
1 Nov. 32Tuesday.

I forgot, when last I wrote, dearest Mildred, to say that the Arlottes,The Arlottes have not been identified. who are going to B.A.“Buenos Aires.” from B-pest, are very nice and that I think you and Robert will like them. I’ve been meaning to convey this message to you for a long time past, but other things come to my pen when I take it up to write you.

I’m leaving tonight for Pest, after a few days of London and Paris. Atmosphere here not very cheerful—the new appointments aren’t what this place wants.

I saw Edith in Paris—she’s very well. I also saw Berenson, rather aged, but sprightly.

Much love, dearest Mildred.
