Royall Tyler to Mildred Barnes Bliss, March 15, 1932

League of Nations
15.III.32Tuesday.

I’ve just radioed, in reply to yours, dearest Mildred “don’t disembark France will meet you London or Paris.”

I don’t think I shall be summoned suddenly to Bpest, and hope to arrive here the 21st inst. It seems too good to be true.

I may possibly rush over to London this week end, and perhaps come back with you.

Please wire me where you will be in London. If I don’t hear I shall assume it will be Claridges.Claridges, a luxury hotel in Mayfair, central London.

I’m having heavy weather with the Fin. Ctee.On October 25, 1920, the League of Nations had appointed an Advisory Economic and Financial Committee composed of two sections of ten members each and tasked with “the working out of measures of an economic and financial nature which have been submitted for adoption by Members of the League in accordance with the Covenant of the League.”—things are very difficult in Bpest, but we may pull through.

Bless you.
