Many thanks, dearest Mildred, for the life of Archie Coolidge.Harold Jefferson Coolidge and Robert Howard Lord, Archibald Cary Coolidge: Life and Letters (Boston: Houghton Mifflin, 1932). Archibald Cary Coolidge (1866–1928) was an American educator who was professor of history at Harvard College from 1908 and the first director of the Harvard University Library from 1910. I am following world events with a secret and selfish wish that whatever befall it may not interfere with our meeting in Washington in May.

Bless you, & love to you both.
