Royall Tyler to Robert Woods Bliss, February 18, 1938

Finance Ministry

Budapest

18th February 1938.

Dear Robert,

I have just heard from Juritzky that he has shipped the two Labradorite columns,BZ.1940.78–79. duly insured, to you via Baltimore. He says that they should arrive in three to four weeks. As his letter is dated February 15th, you should have them by the middle of March.

Juritzky asks that as soon as you have received the columns he may get payment for them. I would therefore suggest that as soon as they have arrived, you cable to me. I will then pay Juritzky: Austrian Schillings 8,000, it being understood that the freight and insurance are to be paid by Juritzsky up to a total not exceeding Austrian Schillings 1,500.

Yrs

R. T.
