Dear Robert.

Many thanks for your letter of 21 June, and also for depositing the equivalent of S.F. 2,024.40, which was exactly right.

I’m delighted to know that you and Mildred are coming over soon. We must meet, round 15 Sept. in Paris. I think I can easily arrange to be there then. Mind you let me know if there’s any change in your plans: also address in London. Claridges (?).Claridge’s, a luxury hotel in Mayfair, central London.

I wish I could do the Istanbul-Cairo trip with you. Who knows? The trouble is that in Sept. I take on a new job for the World Bank (IBRD)The International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD), established in 1944, became operational in 1946 as the original institution of the World Bank Group. It was a cooperative organization of 188 member nations that originally promoted sustainable development and reconstruction to nations devastated by the Second World War. with seat at Bâle and most of my time, for the moment, in Paris, & trips to Washn. We’ll see if perhaps something can be managed.
