Dear Robert.

I have got to leave this flat on Aug. 1, and expect to be at the Hotel CrillonThe Hôtel de Crillon, a historic luxury hotel in Paris at the foot of the Champs-Élysées that opened in 1909 in a building dating to 1758. The hotel is in one of two identical stone palaces on the Place de la Concorde. from then till I sail, Aug. 17. The 67 rue de Lille67 rue de Lille, the former Hôtel Duret, constructed in 1872–1874 by David de Pénanrun. Beginning in January 1949, the building served as the Parisian headquarters of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development. address still holds: Cable INTBAFRAD (for Tyler).

Would it be possible for you to put me up at the Knickerbocker ClubThe Knickerbocker Club, a gentlemen’s club in New York that was founded in 1871 and has been located at 2 East 62nd Street since 1913. again, Aug. 23–Sept. 6? I fear it may be agin the rules for a non-member thus to be accommodated, twice within a few months. Could you let me know, so that if appropriate I may make other arrangements?
