New College, Oxford

New College was founded in 1379 by William of Wykeham, bishop of Winchester, as "the college of St Mary of Winchester in Oxford." Royall Tyler commenced his studies at New College, Oxford, in September 1902, but he left in November 1903 without taking a degree.
