Notes

A copy of Molhuysen’s catalogue entry has been pasted into the ms.  It appears as the first image on the film.

Many mathematical illustrations starting on f. 26r.

On f. 46v. the scribe, John Mavromatis of Corcyra (V&G 177sq.), signs his name and the date, 1546.  Below this a note reads:

48r: here begins (in a different hand) the index of Psellus’ De Corporibus Caelestibus.  Molhuysen notes that part of the index is missing.

As of July 2011, Pinakes, for some reason, lists Symeon Seth as the author of Psellus’ text.
