Title on pediment upon which are 3 female figures and 1 child seen from the back, and a coat of arms.

Sixty-eight engraved and etched plates of designs for parterres de broderie, bosquets and boulingrins, orangeries and their adjacent parterres, labyrinths, and various types of trellises.

Contains engraved title page (bottom left inscribed: Marillier Inv. et Delineavit [Clément Pierre Marillier, 1740-1808], and at right: Binet Sculpsit [Louis Binet, 1744-1800?]), and 68 engraved plates numbered 1-68 (none botanical, all garden designs).

Engravings, after Galimard, some of which have the engraver's signature, Berthault, Thénard, or Moreau.
