Translation

Ἰωάννου ἀπὸ ἐπάρχων.

(Seal of) John apo eparchon.

Commentary

In his unpublished catalogue of the Shaw collection, Laurent reads the obverse monogram as Βώνου (Bonos). However, the letter on the left that he reads as a Β, is more likely an Α, giving the extremely common name John.
