Obverse
The Mother of God (Basiotissa) standing, holding the Child in her right arm. Sigla on either side: ̅θυ̅: Μή(τη)ρ Θ(εο)ῦ. Inscription in two columns: ||Α|σ|ι|τ|ι|σ|α : ἡ Βασιώτισ(σ)α. Within concentric circles of dots, an inscription beginning with a cross at twelve o'clock:
μρ̅θ....τ̣.τ̣.αρχαγγελν

The archangel Michael standing, holding the sceptre and globus cruciger. Sigla preserved at right: χ|μ : Μ(ι)χ(αήλ). Within concentric circles of dots, an inscription beginning with a cross at twelve o'clock:

Μῆτερ Θεοῦ καὶ πρῶτε τῶν ἀρχαγγέλων Πόθου κριτοῦ ῥύσατε βουλὰς καὶ λόγους.
Mother of God and first among the archangels, preserved the decisions and words of Pothos.
