Translation

Τὸν Κυζίκου με Μιχαὴλ σκέποις.

Μay you protect me, Michael, the (metropolitan) of Kyzikos.

Commentary

The inscription consists of two five-syllable verses and seems to represent an attempt at metre; see Eric McGeer, "Discordant verses on Byzantine metrical seals," SBS 4 (1995), 63-69.
