Translation

Λεοντίου πατρὸς (πόλεως)

(Seal of) Leontios, father (of the city)

Commentary

The Π is uncertain, as only the left bar is truly visible. However there are indications that there exists a line leading from that bar at the top horizontally, not diagonally nor in the middle. Additionally, though the reverse monogram only reads πατρός, the title πατρὸς πόλεως is implied (see E. Hanton, "Lexique explicatif du Recueil des inscriptions grecques chrétiennes d'Asie Mineure," Byzantion 4 (1927-28): 114).
