Κύριε βοήθι τῷ σῷ δούλο Λέοντι βασιλικῷ πρωτοσπαθαρίῳ καὶ στρατιγο τῶν Ἀρμενιακῶν.
Lord, help your servant Leo, imperial protospatharios and strategos of the Armeniakoi.

Commentary
A seal inscribed with the same name and titles and decorated with a slightly different cross, is published in Sig., 295, no. 1. It may have belonged to the same person as the present specimen. It is not impossible that we have here the seal of Leo Agelastos, attested in 944 (Theophanes Continuatus, 443).
