Commentary

The reverse monogram of this seal is difficult to interpret. The most obvious reading of it would be  Ἀναστασίας (Anastasia), but this would be a unique example of male and female names on a seal, perhaps a husband and wife. Otherwise, it could be some sort of non-Greek name without a Greek genitive termination, or ending in -α/ας.
