Mother of God, help your servant ... imperial protospatharios and epi tou Chrysotriklinou, son (?) of the Domestic of the Schools.

Commentary

The formula ὁ τοῦ Δομεστίκου τῶν Σχολῶν at the end of the inscription likely means "son of the Domestic of the Schools," but may also refer to someone in the retinue or personal service of that officer.
