Commentary
The reading of the name on this seal is provisional and cannot be established with certainty until a better preserved parallel becomes known. An alternative reading of the personal name is Bedanos.
Identification of the figure on the obverse as St. Nicholas (as opposed to St. Basil) is based on iconography.
