Aspendos (ruins near the modern village of Belkis on the Eurymedon River), a suffragan of Side of Pamphylia, is mentioned in all notitiae, seventh to thirteenth centuries. Bishops attended councils from 325 to 787: DHGE 4 (1930) 1073-74; Fedalto, 240; Zgusta, 103.
