Translation

πρωταγγέλου τύπωμα τῆς γραφῆς φύλαξ.

The image of the first among the angels is the guardian of this letter.

Commentary

The two characters at the top of the reverse indicate some confusion on the engraver's part. The first appears to be a tau followed by the usual abbreviation for protos (or "first"); the line below reads ΠΡΩ as though the engraver realised his mistake and incorporated the tau and the alpha into the first word of the inscription, πρωταγγέλου.
