Commentary

This seal is well overstruck--the borders from the earlier strike, from a larger boulloterion, are visible outside the borders of the later strike. Διομίδου is another possible reading of this seal, but much less likely, especially as it would normally require an Η. It could also be some strange name with a Χ, like perhaps, Μαλχοῦ. BZS.1955.1.24, although from a different boulloterion, is parallel.
