Translation

πάναγνε, μῆτερ τοῦ Λόγου καὶ παρθένε, σκέποις σεβαστὴν Κομνηνὴν Εὐδοκίαν.

All-holy One, Mother of the Word and Virgin, may you protect the sebaste Eudokia Komnene.

Commentary

The owner of this seal is probably to be identified with the Eudokia Komnene attested as the daughter of Isaac Komnenos, the elder brother of the emperor Alexios I Komnenos. She was married to Nikephoros Botaneiates sometime between 1110 and 1112 and lived at least until the year 1150.
