Translation

σκέποις, δέσποινα, σὀν οἰκέτην Λέοντα προέδρῳ τῷ Κασταμονίτῃ.

Sovereign Lady, may you protect your servant, the bishop Leo Kastamonites.

Commentary

Note that the inscription switches from the accusative οἰκέτην Λέοντα to the dative προέδρῳ τῷ Κασταμονίτῃ. The inscription is also metrical (a twelve-syllable verse) as far as the owner's Christian name; the title and family name were added to what appears to have been the original inscription.
