Translation

σφραγὶς Κωνσταντίνου τοῦ Κασταμονήτου.

The seal of Constantine Kastamonites.

Commentary

This is a twelve-syllable verse made up of two six-syllable hemistichs. Two other seals in the Dumbarton Oaks collection, listed below, bear the name of Constantine Kastamonites and are likely related to this seal, though they represent a different type. The present specimen, along with other seals belonging to Constantine Kastamonites, is mentioned in Katsaros, Iōannēs Kastamonitēs, p. 148.
