Commentary

Apameia of Pisidia (Ἀπάμεια ἡ Κιβωτός: modern Dinar), located at the headwaters of the Meander River, was a suffragan of Antioch of Pisidia and is so noted in the notitiae from the seventh to the thriteenth centuries. See Laurent, Corpus V/1, 402-3; Phrygien und Pisidien, 188-89.
