Romanos III Argyros (1028-34)

Half-length representation of Christ bearded, holding the right hand in blessing and a book in the left. He has a nimbus cruciger; each arm contains a decoration consisting of five pellets. Sigla at left and right: [(ησοῦ)ς] Χ(ριστό)ς. Remains of a circular inscription at right. Border of dots.




Romanos III Argyros (1028-34)

A half-length representation of Emperor Constantine X bearded, wearing a crown with a cross and a loros. He seems to hold a globus in the right hand and a long cross in the left. Circular inscription visible at left. Border of dots.
