Translation

κυροῖ σφραγῖδι τὰς γραφὰς Ἰωάννης Δούκας σεβαστὸς ἑταιρειάρχης μέγας.

With this seal the sebastos and megas hetaireiarches John Doukas authenticates his correspondence.

Commentary
