Christ standing before a low throne, his right hand raised in blessing, a book in his left. Sigla at left and right: Ἰ(ησοῦ)ς Χ(ριστό)ς. Phi in left field. Border of dots.

The emperor John standing, bearded, wearing a crown and a loros, an end of which is draped over the left wrist. He holds a cross–sceptre in his right hand and an akakia in his left. Inscription in two columns. Border of dots.
