Joshua Robinson.

Joshua Robinson joined Dumbarton Oaks in 2017 as Byzantine Studies librarian. He is responsible for selecting all books for the Byzantium-focused portion of the library and providing reference help to Byzantinist researchers. He also selects suitable rare and out-of-print titles from the Byzantine collection for our ongoing digitization project.

Robinson has a PhD in medieval studies from the University of Notre Dame and an MTS from Harvard Divinity School. He studies late antique and Byzantine theology and philosophy, especially the influence of Neoplatonism in the Byzantine world.
